Isolation

The techniques used are:
  • Mechanical isolation, without trypsination, for tissues, organs or biological samples (biopsy, tumour…)
  • Classical techniques for selection of cells from total blood or liquid samples using centrifugation, concentration gradient, coupling to antibodies/magnetic beads…

Cloning

Cloning is performed by limit dilution.

The cloning step can be performed in the pharmaceutical zone, according to GMP guidelines for the production of pharmaceutical products. This enables Bio Elpida to produces clones that can benefit from a GMP release certificate by our qualified person.
